Veda Biography:
Veda was formed in 2004 by singer and guitarist/pianist Kristen May and lead guitarist Brian Little, who had previously played together in a different band for about a year. Drummer Drew Little and bassist Jason Douglas joined the band soon after the end of Brian and Kristen's previous band, Red Authentic. The rock quartet's musical influences of the band collectively are the Joy Division, the Foo Fighters, A Perfect Circle, Bjork and Coldplay. In 2004, they signed with Second Nature Recordings. In the summer of 2004, Veda recorded its six-song EP, This Broken City, at Black Lodge with the support of Ed Rose. In 2005, the band released an LP entitled The Weight of an Empty Room. After the release of the two dicographies, they began their tour aroud the Europe. In late 2005, they changed their name to Vedera.
